University of Sunderland je univerzita v Sunderlande na severovýchode Anglicka. Univerzita má 13 695 študentov a bola jedná zo šiestich univerzít, ktoré boli vybraté do užšieho výberu pre “University of the Year” v rámci Times Higher Education Supplement Awards 2012.
Korene tieto univerzity siahaju do roku 1901, ked sa volala Sunderland Technical College, v roku 1969 sa premenovala na Sunderland Polytechnic a v roku 1992 keď získala štatút univerzity sa premenovala na terajší názov.
Univerzita má dva kampusy v Sunderland a jeden v Londýne. V Sunderlande sa tieto kampusy volajú City kampus a Sir Tom Cowie Campus pri St. Peter’s.
26. apríla 2012 univerzita oznámila otvorenie nového kampusu v Canary Wharf v Londýne. V roku 2012/2013 počet študentov na tomto kampuse bol 2 277. Tento kampus ponúka programy v oblasti ošetrovateľstva, obchodu, cestovného ruchu ako aj účtovníctva a finančného riadenia.
